”Ricers” may look stupid. but tell me, how is it they can get 1200bhp+ out of a straight 6 with less than 3000cc (183cui)? and muscle cars need 5000cc+ and two more cylinders to do it?

But how much effort does it take to belt out that much power from small displacement? I’m not saying it isn’t cool (Buick Grand National anyone?) but how many 6 shooters can create 5,000 plus horsepower?
Dear Adam… though your numbers may be a bit high, I’ll go with them. American cars that produce 1200whp can race a season or two without needing going through. A 4 banger ricebox will be lucky to get 3 straight runs out if it before blowing up. So they both look stupid and are stupid.
