Wow… human beings are amazing creatures… gotta love it… ROFL
Haha, why does he even bother try to steer the thing with the steering wheel? I don’t think it will have much effect
I think he’s just holding on for dear life!
he has to be sitting in the seat or the lawn mower will automatically shut off.
yet el retardo could have easily just placed a rock in the seat or better yet just shorted the switch before lifting it up.
Ain’t it expensive to get one of these..uhm how you call them….every time just to cut the hedges? oO°
Somebody tell me this isn’t real.
It’s real

Ur doin it wrong!
The funny part is when that thing falls apart, lands on him and severs something important, the mower and crane manufacturer will be sued for not having a warning advising against this stupidity.
No, he’s in NZ, so he can’t so easily sue a company for negligence. He’ll just end up in hospital for a month or three, and then he’ll get released to his home with ongoing carers, physio-therapy, rehabilitation followed by more operations and therapy etc… Sickness benefits, surgery, compensation, and loss of earnings will all be covered by the tax collected from the 98% of the population who aren’t so fucking stupid! Though, with the way the Accident Compensation Corporation in NZ is at the moment, they’ll probably write his accident off as ‘degenerative’ or ‘pre-existing’ problems (rampant stupidity probably IS a pre-existing problem, heh), and thus he’ll just get left to quietly rot.
Regardless of how good of a job it does, that hedge-trimming attachment was not worth the extra investment.
Anyone from OSHA looking at this?
Now this is redneck. I love it.
Riding mower: $1500.
Boom lift rental for one day: $300.
The looks on your neighbor’s faces: Priceless.
WHAT?!!
I wanna see the picture of him trimming the sides with that thing…
This is actually real, its from New Zealand
GO KIWIS
And no, we don’t sue people when something goes wrong cause of our own stupidity
Yeah, we don’t sue. Because if we do we aren’t allowed to claim ACC. Plus most of our judges would throw the case out of court, especially with the current trial backlog.
Where are the pictures of him trimming the sides of the hedge?
That involves leaning waaay over the side, using a gas-powered chainsaw one-handed.

That’s a different attachment.
Because a ladder and a pair of hedge clippers was just too dangerous!
This is a small step for man, but a great leap for lawnmowers.
apparently after this he fell off the crane climbing down and broke his hand. when i read the article i was like omg i bet thats… and it WAS a kiwi!
These guys have got to be working for the city.
they should make it into an extreme sport XDD
ctown, new zealand… Is now world renowned for genius ways of trimming the hedge.
