Oh man, The creators of the Batpod bike are selling a working version of the Light Cycle from Disney’s new Tron movie on Ebay!
According to the listing, The “Lightcycle” is being built for everyday street use. Each bike will come with a manufacterers build sheet and a certificate of title with purchase. Each bike will come with either a high powered electric motor or a high performance gasoline motor and transmission depending on the buyers needs.
Go buy me one here. There’s still a day and a half left of bidding!

How do you make corners with that thing? Doesn’t like like it can tilt to the sides like a motorcycle.

Mechanically it’s not too hard to do the “Axle-less Rim” that they have there with the big hole. Just takes a lot of fancy machining.
They’ve done the same thing with the Big Single Wheel (tractor sized) that the rider is sitting inside to drive…
And I bet changing a flat/worn tire on this motorcycle is an adventure of tearing the whole thing to pieces to get the rim out – then bolt in a fake axle so it’ll fit on the tire machine.

It’s almost definately fake. It’s a shot of the bike in the new Tron movie.
The pictured bike is a model that they’re basing it on. They haven’t built them yet.

I assume you have to be the exact size of the hard shell bodysuit which is connected to the bike. I am filled with skepticism.
I hope they have some guards on standby in case Sark and the MCP decide to come around.
The bike’s real enough, and not real easy to turn according to the video. Comes with choice of gas or electric motor. No jumpsuit, but they do throw in a (non-safety approved) Tron helmet.
The real question is how does the Disney leagal team feel about this?
At the very least it’s free advertising, which I’m sure they’re fine with. More likely though Parker Brothers is paying Disney a licensing fee.
I don’t really care if it would be hard to maneuver it, I’d still rock that.
