Always A Good Selling Point
You can fake the “New Car Smell” with fancy air fresheners or shampoos, but no amount of Febreeze will get that funk out of your seat if someone has been using it as their ass-sponge for the past 10 years.

Since it only rolled over half way, if you roll it back the right way it was never really rolled in the first place!

Mongolian Rally Mondays!

It’s Monday again! That means another update from our intrepid team of drivers preparing to brave the wilds of Southern Asia!
The team is still getting ready for the start of the event that gets underway next week and that means prepping the car for the perils of a harsh environment. You can’t have a proper adventure without Duct Tape!
Tuesday, I ran some errands, got some needed parts for the car; wiper blades, air filter, duct tape, and most importantly some new tyres for the car.
I got a set of nice reinforced commercial rated tires put on for the trip. The place we stopped (Tyre Zone, in Stockport, near Manchester) was great. A really cool bunch of guys, if anyone ever needs tyres in the Manchester area, this is your place.
Wednesday I made my way down to London, and picked up Christine. London is quite the adventure to get around in, especially when you are not completely used to the car, and which side of the road you are supposed to be on. With only a little help, some poorly scaled maps, and an international phone call or 2, we made it to the train station, where we hopped a train for France.
I will be back in the UK next Monday night, and the team will be at full strength then, and it willl be full on rally prep time.
